The name tape: the pilot's personal signature

Engraved leather, integrated velcro, one name per piece — why the name tape is the most personal item in a squadron's kit.

The squadron patch says "which family I belong to". The name tape says "who I am". It is the personal, individual signature of every crew member.

One name per piece

Unlike the unit patch — identical for everyone — the name tape is unique. Each piece carries a different surname, sometimes a rank, sometimes a cockpit nickname (the "callsign"). That is what makes it a particular product: we do not make the same thing 100 times, we make 50 different pieces.

Laser-engraved leather

Our leather version: genuine tanned leather, dyed to the squadron's colour (black, brown, natural, or a custom Pantone), with the name laser-engraved. The finish is sober, durable and premium. Hook velcro on the back for quick attachment to the flight suit or service dress.

MOQ 50 — suited to a squadron

It is the only product in our catalogue with a lowered MOQ of 50 pieces. Why? Because a fighter squadron rarely has 100 pilots. 50 is the size of a full squadron — or of two or three crews. There is no need to order 100 tapes to use 30.

How to order

Send us the list of names (and ranks / callsigns if you wish) as a table. We send back a proof with a few examples, and once approved we produce the whole set. Lead time 3 to 4 weeks.
